Following on from the grower demand and positive feedback from other Partners in Grain Being a Better Boss workshops, we have developed this third instalment to the Being a Better Boss series.
This workshop focuses on team productivity, time management and being able to recognise your management style and how it impacts others and has been designed specifically for farm businesses.
This Being a Better Boss – Team Productivity & Time Management workshop is organised into 3 key topics:
• Part 1: Self Leadership and Achieving Results – Before you can lead others, first you must be able to lead yourself. This part lays a foundation for effective personal organisation and direction.
• Part 2: Bringing out the Best in Others – Learning what makes people tick and what motivates them is going to help you achieve the best results through other people. Today’s workplace demands different requirements from leaders and managers than it once did.
• Part 3: Communication and Interaction Skills – Human interaction is a core process in any business. Success or failure of your farm business may depend on how well you communicate with one another. An important part of communication and interaction skills is being able to navigate our way around conflict and challenging people. This part also provides practical solutions that will give confidence in tackling these conversations.
